Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager of Ethics & Compliance - Financial Examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage strategies for timely responses to inquiries from state insurance financial examiners
- Serve as a subject matter expert on financial examinations and maintain an archive of prior examination responses
- Develop and implement production and quality standards for the compliance program focused on financial examinations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Compliance, Law, or related field; Master's or Juris Doctorate preferred
- 4+ years of compliance experience, preferably in a healthcare environment; 2+ years in Medicaid, Medicare, or Commercial Managed Care preferred
- Experience interacting with federal and state regulatory agencies in managed care or insurance environments preferred
- Prior experience with financial examinations conducted by state departments of insurance is preferred
- Familiarity with National Association of Insurance Commissioners standards and procedures for financial examinations preferred
