Manager Mainframe Production Control

Job Summary

Leading production control and database administration operations, the full-time Manager Mainframe Production Control will ensure the stability and performance of batch processing and job scheduling in a fully remote environment while driving operational excellence and compliance for Medicaid systems.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee service delivery across multiple clients, ensuring accurate execution of claims configuration and provider setup
• Drive standardization and process improvements throughout the configuration lifecycle to enhance quality and operational efficiency
• Manage financial and operational performance, including budgeting and cost optimization, while maintaining SLA adherence

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mainframe operations, production control, or database administration
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing technical or operational teams
• Strong knowledge of mainframe environments (z/OS) and job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M)
• Experience with enterprise database platforms, including performance tuning and security management
• Proven ability to manage processes in regulated, high-availability environments, preferably Medicaid or government systems
