Manager Medical Economics

Job Summary

To enhance analytics capabilities within a fast-growing value-based care organization, the full-time remote Manager Medical Economics will lead the analysis of medical cost trends, optimize analytics tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost and quality improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of medical cost trends and develop actionable recommendations to improve MLR performance
• Optimize the MLR Trend Analytics toolset within an evolving enterprise data warehouse framework
• Collaborate with Clinical, Operations, and Actuarial teams to identify and measure initiatives that enhance cost and quality outcomes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; actuarial designation (ASA or FSA) is a plus
• Minimum of five years of relevant healthcare analytics, actuarial, or medical economics experience
• Advanced understanding of healthcare cost drivers, MLR, and value-based care models
• Proficient analytical skills, including experience with SQL and/or Python/R
• Demonstrated ability to present complex analyses to leadership audiences
