Manager Medical Staff Services

Job Summary

Overseeing credentialing and privileging operations, the full-time Manager Medical Staff Services will manage centralized processes, develop standardized procedures, and facilitate onboarding for Medical Staff Coordinators while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the credentialing and privileging operations for providers within the Division
• Develop and implement standardized processes in accordance with accreditation and regulatory standards
• Facilitate the orientation and ongoing education of Medical Staff Coordinators on credentialing tasks and database management

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of comprehensive credentialing experience in an acute care hospital or Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO)
• 1 year of supervisory or management experience preferred
• Certification as a Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) and/or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) may be obtained within 1 year of hire
• Experience with HCA Healthcare credentialing and Cactus preferred
