Manager of Application Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Application Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application security engineers
• Perform application security reviews and provide guidance on security architecture and practices
• Drive security initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, or GRC, with at least 3 years in application security programs
• Proven experience leading security teams in a SaaS or product company
• Expert-level understanding of security libraries, controls, and vulnerabilities
• Strong development/scripting skills; experience with .NET Core, Go, or Python preferred
• Holds at least two relevant security certifications (e.g., CSSLP, OSCP)
