Manager of Benefits Configuration

Job Summary

Leading the Plan Build and Benefits Configuration team, the full-time Manager of Benefits Configuration will oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing configuration of benefit plan adjudication rules while ensuring compliance and operational excellence, with the opportunity to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Plan Build and Benefit Configuration team, ensuring quality execution across all activities
• Perform hands-on plan build and configuration work, including system setup, benefit mapping, testing, and validation
• Establish and enforce policies and best practices to deliver accurate and compliant results

Required qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Plan Build, Benefit Configuration, and Healthcare leadership
• 3+ years of business and operations experience in a health plan environment
• 2 to 3 years of Virtual Benefit Administrator (VBA) experience
• 1 to 2 years of Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience
• Working knowledge of revenue codes and medical terminology
