Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team, the remote Manager of Clinical Documentation Integrity will oversee day-to-day operations of CDI processes, ensuring accurate and compliant clinical documentation while developing team members and improving workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily CDI operations, setting performance standards and monitoring workflow to ensure quality and productivity
- Develop and coach team members through effective onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
- Identify and implement improvements in documentation processes and maintain compliance with coding standards
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in clinical documentation integrity, risk adjustment, or HCC coding, particularly with Medicare Advantage populations
- Active coding credential such as CRC, CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, nursing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Deep knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CMS-HCC risk-adjustment methodology
- Experience leading and coaching teams to meet performance standards
