Manager of Contracting

Job Summary

Accountable for performing managed care contract negotiations, the remote Manager of Contracting will develop strategies for rate setting, maintain relationships with payors, and ensure effective communication of negotiated terms across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic goals and action plans for managed care contract negotiations aligned with organizational priorities
• Participate in departmental operations to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and effectively
• Communicate across departments to promote timely and open information sharing that enhances operations and relationships

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts in business, accounting, or a related field (or 6 years of equivalent work experience)
• 5 years of equivalent work experience beyond the 6 years in lieu of education
• 5 years of experience in healthcare with some managerial responsibilities beyond the 6 years in lieu of education
