Job Summary
Leading a team of curriculum content developers, the full-time Manager of Curriculum Development will oversee the quality and innovation of K-12 computer science and AI curriculum, ensuring it meets educational standards and reaches diverse student populations, while working remotely or from Seattle, WA.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of curriculum developers, fostering an inclusive team culture
- Translate content strategy into actionable development plans and lead the execution of curriculum roadmaps
- Drive innovation in curriculum design, incorporating AI into content development workflows and ensuring alignment with educational standards
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in K-12 curriculum design and development, preferably in computer science and AI
- 2+ years of experience in a people management role, with a focus on mentoring and developing content teams
- Deep knowledge of computer science and AI concepts relevant to K-12 education, including fluency in a text-based programming language
- Strong project management skills, with experience in leading complex projects and using project management tools
- Direct experience teaching computer science and/or AI in a K-12 setting
