Manager of Cyber Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Defensive Cyber SecOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small defensive operations team, managing investigations and response decision-making
• Mature and iterate on SOC workflows, enhancing triage speed and decision quality through automation
• Own detection engineering outcomes, including alert logic, correlation rules, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, incident response, or security engineering
• Strong background in intrusion analysis using SIEM/log analytics and investigation tools
• Proven experience in maturing SOAR automation and custom tooling
• Experience in cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure
• Ability to operate as both a technical leader and people manager in real-time security environments
