Manager of Daily NAV Accounting

Job Summary

Leading a specialized daily valuation services practice, the full-time Manager of Daily NAV Accounting will oversee client engagements, manage NAV calculations, and coordinate valuation updates while working in a hybrid environment from anywhere in the United States, preferably Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily valuation and NAV calculations, ensuring accuracy in financial information and property value projections
• Own client engagements and deliverables, managing timelines, budgets, and client expectations for multiple projects
• Coordinate valuation updates and analyze material events, determining their impact on NAV calculations

Required qualifications

• Strong accounting background with direct experience in NAV calculations or reporting
• Proficiency in financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with strong Excel skills
• Experience with accounting or financial systems, preferably Yardi, MRI, or JD Edwards
• University or college degree in accounting or a related field; CPA preferred
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
