Manager of Data Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the Applied Data Engineering team, the full-time Manager of Data Engineering will oversee the development of scalable data marts and products, driving innovation and collaboration in a remote environment focused on enhancing decision-making and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the roadmap for launching high-impact data marts and products while driving cross-functional initiatives
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team
• Identify and lead new initiatives to continuously evolve and innovate data practices across the organization

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in analytics or business intelligence roles with a proven track record of launching data marts, including 3+ years in a leadership position
• Extensive experience with data technologies such as Airflow, Snowflake, Meltano, Fivetran, DBT, and AWS
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI
• Demonstrated ability to drive significant impact and positive change within an organization
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines and solutions in a fast-paced environment
