Job Summary
Leading denial management and appeal strategy, the full-time remote Manager of Denials and Appeals will oversee reimbursement recovery operations, improve overturn rates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for denial management, appeals, and reimbursement recovery workflows
- Analyze denial trends and develop prevention strategies across billing and clinical workflows
- Drive recovery of underpayments and monitor accounts receivable performance for timely reimbursement
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle management experience, including denials and appeals
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing denial or accounts receivable follow-up teams
- Strong expertise in payer appeals processes, denial codes, and reimbursement methodologies
