Manager of Desktop Services

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Desktop Services to oversee its IT team and desktop infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the desktop infrastructure, including devices across 600 branches and remote employees
• Develop and implement long-term strategies for desktop management, including inventory and disaster recovery plans
• Lead a team of IT Technicians, setting performance goals, providing mentorship, and managing department initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop management or a similar role, with previous people management preferred
• Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, Intune, Group Policy, SCCM, and Azure AD
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are preferred
• General knowledge of desktop, printer, and configuration management best practices
