Manager of Executive Escalations

Job Summary

Leading a team of Executive Escalation Specialists, the full-time Manager of Executive Escalations will oversee the resolution of complex medical and dental escalations, ensuring high standards of investigative rigor and communication while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team responsible for the end-to-end resolution of escalations, setting performance expectations and conducting reviews
• Provide oversight on sensitive escalations, ensuring accurate and empathetic communication with stakeholders
• Track and analyze escalation trends to identify systemic issues and recommend process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in a medical and/or dental health plan environment
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience, preferably with complex escalations
• Experience in implementing Lean management principles and process improvement initiatives
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and claims adjudication processes
