Manager of Financial Clearance

Job Summary

Managing the daily operations of Patient Access Services, the full-time remote Manager of Financial Clearance will oversee financial clearance processes, ensure accurate patient registration, and coordinate staff scheduling and reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Designs and implements guidelines for registration, referral, and verification processes to ensure efficiency in Patient Access Services
• Monitors scheduling verification and pre-arrival registration to ensure timely and accurate information flow
• Oversees workqueues and reports to maintain productivity and quality standards in financial clearance processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years' managerial experience in Registration, Scheduling, and/or Insurance Verification processes
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strong organizational skills
• Complete understanding of third-party payor and managed care requirements
• Flexibility to work holiday and weekend shifts as well as after-hours coverage when necessary
