Job Summary

Leading a team of approximately 60 underwriting professionals, the full-time Manager of Individual Underwriting will drive operational excellence and foster a positive, inclusive culture in a remote environment while navigating organizational change and enhancing customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a customer-focused underwriting team through coaching, collaboration, and accountability
• Monitor operational performance and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships to align priorities and achieve shared organizational goals

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in call center, customer service, or operations teams
• Proven track record of leading teams through organizational change and transformation
• Experience in coaching and talent development with a focus on employee engagement
• Strong cross-functional partnership and communication skills
• High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and commitment to a customer-first mindset
