Manager of Interconnection Services

Job Summary

To support regional generator interconnection processes, the full-time Manager of Interconnection Services will manage the development and construction of projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with interconnection standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to conduct interconnection analysis and perform prospecting studies for optimal generator resource placement
• Manage the generator interconnection application process, including compliance with regulatory timelines and conducting network upgrade cost estimates
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the generator interconnection process while monitoring industry trends and regulatory changes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• 3+ years of experience in power systems, transmission planning, or related areas
• Thorough understanding of NERC reliability standards and transmission policy issues
• Experience with interconnection studies and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with industry tools such as PowerGEM, TARA, PSS/E, and ASPEN
