Manager of LMS Optimization

Job Summary

Leading a team of Academic Technology Solution Owners, the full-time Manager of LMS Optimization will work remotely to enhance the learning management system (LMS) by evaluating and implementing features, maintaining relationships with operational staff, and driving continuous improvements focused on user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the LMS Optimizations team, ensuring effective operations and solution delivery through planning and communication
• Collaborate with the Director of Academic Technology to align LMS features with business needs and oversee the implementation of updates and enhancements
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure successful integration of technologies into the learning ecosystem and improve user experience

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working within a learning management system (LMS)
• 3+ years of experience leading LMS operation programs
• High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• Experience with D2L Brightspace or comparable LMS
• Familiarity with Agile fundamentals and product management processes
