Manager of Patient Financial Services - Remote

Job Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Manager of Patient Financial Services for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts receivable management, cash management, payment posting, refund processing, and customer service inquiries related to hospital bills
• Implement and monitor productivity standards, manage denials and appeals, and collaborate with external collection agencies
• Supervise reconciliation of payments, monitor refund requests, and address escalated patient concerns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare collection and recovery services experience with prior supervisor/management experience
• Epic and HFMA certifications preferred
• Working knowledge of payer reimbursement, healthcare billing and collection, and regulatory compliance
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including data analytics within Access and Excel
