Job Summary
Leading payer negotiations and strategy development, the full-time remote Manager of Payer Strategy will execute payer contracting strategies, oversee complex negotiations, and align agreements with organizational growth and financial goals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end negotiation of payer agreements across various contract models, including fee-for-service and value-based arrangements
- Develop negotiation materials and analytics tools to provide visibility into payer performance and contract opportunities
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, ensuring payer agreements align with care models and pricing strategies
Required qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in managed care contracting with a proven track record in negotiations
- Established strategic relationships with national and regional payor organizations
- Deep understanding of reimbursement methodologies and contract performance analytics
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency with financial modeling and tools such as Excel or Tableau
