Manager of Power Markets

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Manager of Power Markets, the full-time position will leverage expertise in power market dynamics to generate actionable insights, develop market models, and produce publications while engaging with clients and mentoring junior team members, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis and forecasting to develop insights on price movements and supply-demand conditions
• Engage with clients and stakeholders through thought leadership, webinars, and written publications on CRR/FTR strategies
• Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in power markets or trading, with expertise in ERCOT/MISO markets
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and energy market modeling software
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex ideas to clients and stakeholders
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in mentoring and team performance enhancement
