Manager of Research Ethics Compliance
Job Summary
Supporting the review and coordination of research and evaluation activities, the full-time Manager of Research Ethics Compliance will conduct ethics and compliance screenings, prepare documentation for leadership review, and ensure alignment with ethical standards in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial IRB and PRA/OMB screenings for research-like activities and prepare documentation for leadership review
- Review study protocols and related materials for alignment with ethical standards and participant protections
- Contribute to the development of research products, including manuscripts and reports, while supporting process improvements related to ethics screening and compliance workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, health sciences, public policy, or a related field
- Three to five years of relevant experience in research ethics, compliance, or evaluation operations
- Experience with IRB review and human subjects protections
- Familiarity with crisis line operations or behavioral health services
- Strong writing skills for preparing documentation and recommendations
