Manager of Security Operations

Job Summary

Leading a talented team of security operations analysts, the full-time Manager of Security Operations will oversee incident response, define security strategy, and enhance security processes in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Security Operations team, implementing robust security protocols and staying ahead of emerging threats
• Drive incident response from detection through remediation and prevention, while developing new processes for the security operations program
• Identify and plan for new technologies and emerging threats to address organizational risks effectively

Required qualifications

• Strong leadership experience in security operations, particularly in a SaaS and cloud environment
• Experience in crafting detection and observability strategies for security events
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST 800-53
• Proven experience with incident response and acting as incident commander for security incidents
• Ability to leverage AI to enhance security processes and improve operational efficiency
