Job Summary

To enhance sponsored funding levels and streamline proposal submissions, the full-time remote Manager of Sponsored Programs will oversee the administrative and financial operations of the Sponsored Programs division, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements while collaborating with faculty and researchers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the pre-award proposal development and submission process, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Partner with faculty to prepare grant proposals, including budget development and necessary documentation
• Monitor proposal deadlines and maintain tracking tools for submissions and awarded proposals to support departmental planning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sponsored research administration, particularly in pre-award services
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and private funding sources and mechanisms
• Familiarity with research administration software and electronic research administration portals
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
