Manager, Payor Relations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Payor Relations to lead payer strategy in the Northern Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead payer contracting and network development strategy across Northern states
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of three contracting professionals
• Build and maintain relationships with health plans, leading negotiations and policy escalations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare operations, network development, or managed care contracting
• Proven experience negotiating contracts with health plans or providers
• Demonstrated success managing and developing teams, especially newer members
• Experience with various payer types (Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial, IPAs, TPAs)
• Strong understanding of claims workflows and payer/provider relationships
