Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager, Procurement to strategically build the Procurement function, support strategic sourcing decisions, and enhance policies/controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a business partner to stakeholders and manage organizational spend, vendor partnerships, and third-party risks
- Devise and implement procurement and sourcing strategies, including vendor/contract relationships and supplier management
- Oversee procurement policies, procedures, and controls, track cost savings initiatives, and manage vendor relationships
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field
- 10+ years of experience, including leadership experience in procurement function
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, negotiations, and networking
- Experience in data analysis and management, and proficiency in using supplier or third-party management software
- Strong communication, presentation, and decision-making skills
