Manager, Software Engineering
Job Summary
To support the Labcorp Genetics team, the full-time salaried Manager, Software Engineering will lead and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on clinical content management systems and diagnostic report generation, while collaborating with cross-functional partners to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Own the technical roadmap for clinical content management systems, ensuring alignment with business and clinical needs
- Drive the design and delivery of tools for managing the clinical content lifecycle, including authoring, versioning, and quality metrics
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5 or more years of professional software engineering experience
- 2 or more years in a technical leadership role managing software engineering teams
- 5 or more years of experience with Python, relational databases, and cloud platforms
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex software systems using RESTful APIs and CI/CD pipelines
