Manager, Value-Based Contracts

Job Summary

Managing the value-based payments network strategy, the full-time Manager, Value-Based Contracts will negotiate complex provider contracts, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with operational departments to enhance financial and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees provider value-based contracting functions and collaborates with various stakeholders on contracting activities
• Negotiates contracts with complex providers to ensure high quality and cost-effective care delivery
• Develops and implements provider value-based contracting strategies to achieve annual savings and minimize financial exposure

Required qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in network contracting and 4 years in provider contract negotiations within managed health care
• Minimum of 1 year of management or leadership experience
• Experience with various managed health care provider compensation methodologies, including value-based payments
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and manage multiple tasks effectively
