Managing Counsel, Product

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managing Counsel, Product to lead a team of attorneys providing legal guidance on consumer products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a senior legal adviser for product development, launches, and promotional initiatives
• Proactively identify and implement consumer protection laws impacting products and services
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of junior and mid-level attorneys

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction
• 9+ years of experience practicing at a law firm and/or in-house
• Experience advising on consumer products and advertising/marketing issues
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
