Job Summary
Focused on acquiring new business opportunities, the remote Managing Director, Business Development will prospect, qualify, and close accounts while building strong client relationships in the working capital sector.
Key responsibilities
- Acquire and cultivate new business opportunities while analyzing market research data to guide sales efforts
- Effectively present financial products to prospective clients and meet assigned sales targets
- Establish and maintain a network of referral sources to identify and address capital access needs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
- 8+ years of experience in commercial finance, including structured financing and working capital
- Demonstrated record of success in solutions-based sales over the phone
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet sales goals and deadlines
- Understanding of financial accounting concepts and entries
