Managing Director, Client Data Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the engineering organization for client data capabilities, the full-time Managing Director, Client Data Engineering will oversee data ingestion, transformation, and exchange processes while ensuring timely client implementations and high satisfaction, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for Client Data Engineering, aligning technical investments with business goals
• Lead engineering teams responsible for client data ingestion and delivery, ensuring effective implementation support and production operations
• Collaborate with Product leadership and clients to refine requirements, manage risks, and ensure timely project delivery

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in software or data engineering, with 7+ years in senior leadership roles managing distributed teams
• Strong technical background in healthcare data integration and modern cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Proven ability to improve implementation delivery and operational stability through effective processes and metrics
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of influencing stakeholders and collaborating across organizations
