Managing Director, Controls Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managing Director, Front Line Controls Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and strengthen the First Line Unit's control environment and risk management activities
• Design and implement effective controls to mitigate identified risks and manage the RSCA program
• Prepare reports for senior management and engage with stakeholders to promote risk management practices

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in risk management, operational risk, or internal audit within the relevant industries
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, with proven managerial experience
• Deep understanding of banking regulations and risk management frameworks
• Risk certifications preferred (e.g., CERP)
