Managing Director, Ocean Freight

Job Summary

To plan and control operational activities, the full-time Managing Director, Ocean Freight will develop global freight strategies, drive revenue growth, and manage procurement while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global ocean carrier freight strategy aligned with product objectives
• Drive revenue growth and establish strategic partnerships with ocean carrier lines and partners
• Own the Global P&L for the ocean carrier freight product, managing yield optimization and compliance

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in international freight forwarding or ocean carrier cargo logistics
• Proven track record managing global or multi-country operations in logistics
• Strong knowledge of ocean carrier line capacity management and pricing
• Experience in ocean carrier line procurement and trade lane management
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
