Managing Director of Advising Services

Job Summary

The full-time Managing Director of Advising Services will lead Tides Center's fiscal sponsorship practice remotely, overseeing Senior Advisors and their teams to ensure partner retention, financial sustainability, and operational effectiveness while driving organizational transformation and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Senior Advisors, fostering an inclusive culture and managing performance and professional development
• Drive partner retention and satisfaction by addressing complex issues and enhancing relationships with key partners
• Steward the financial sustainability of the advising function, balancing revenue and costs while developing pricing models for services

Required qualifications

• 8 years of progressive professional experience, including 4 years managing senior individual contributors in a complex services or nonprofit context
• Direct experience in fiscal sponsorship or services to nonprofit/movement organizations
• Demonstrated financial acumen with experience holding P&L accountability
• Proven track record in leading service delivery teams to measurable outcomes in partner retention and satisfaction
• Experience navigating matrixed team structures and contributing to market or business development initiatives
