Job Summary
Leading the unification of the Budget and Resource Management Team, the full-time salaried Managing Director of Awards Management will oversee budgeting and compliance for government and private grants while managing a team of eleven in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead award management processes from procurement to closeout, ensuring compliance and effective financial management
- Develop and standardize policies and procedures for award management while providing training and guidance to internal teams
- Collaborate on proposal development, including cost analysis and negotiation of funded awards
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
- Minimum of twelve years of related experience, including five years in federal contracts management
- Experience managing and developing teams of at least three staff members
- Proven expertise in non-profit awards management and financial compliance
- Experience in designing and developing training programs on non-profit financial management
