Managing Director of Bankruptcy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managing Director, Bankruptcy & Workouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead bankruptcy, restructuring, and workout situations across investment portfolios
• Develop and execute recovery strategies, including litigation, negotiation, and restructuring pathways
• Partner with investment teams to address distressed or at-risk positions

Qualifications

• JD preferred
• 8-15+ years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or distressed/special situations investing
• Background in a top law firm and/or distressed investment platform
• Deep expertise in U.S. bankruptcy law and creditor rights
• Proven ability to manage complex, high-pressure situations
