Managing Director of Collections Strategy

Job Summary

Defining and owning the collections strategy, the full-time Managing Director of Collections Strategy will establish Collections Services as a scalable business line, overseeing P&L, revenue growth, and governance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a multi-year collections strategy, translating market opportunities into a funded business plan
• Oversee the collections services P&L, setting revenue targets and ensuring sustained profitability
• Build and lead the collections leadership team, representing the capability to clients, partners, and regulators

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of progressive experience in consumer collections or recovery management, including 5+ years in leadership roles
• 5+ years of P&L or business line ownership experience, including building business plans and financial models
• 7+ years of experience managing third-party collection agency networks and contract negotiations
• Demonstrated success in launching and scaling new products or services into established profit centers
