Managing Director of Nature Finance

Job Summary

Leading a team of impact finance professionals, the full-time Managing Director of Nature Finance will oversee the development and execution of impact investment and sovereign debt products, manage transactions, and cultivate partnerships to achieve conservation outcomes aligned with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the origination and closure of financial transactions, ensuring alignment with conservation objectives
• Provide financing expertise to develop new financial mechanisms and manage external relationships with key stakeholders
• Directly manage NatureVest's Impact Investments and Sustainable Debt teams, coordinating projects across various geographies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with 9 years of relevant experience
• Experience in debt and structured finance, including transaction structuring and negotiation
• Proven track record in impact investing and ensuring compliance with financial standards and legal requirements
• Ability to design and implement complex projects, making strategic decisions based on analysis and judgment
• Experience negotiating complex legal agreements and working at a senior level in financial services
