Managing Director of Originations

Job Summary

Experienced private credit originators will find a remote opportunity as the Managing Director of Originations, responsible for sourcing lending opportunities, developing borrower relationships, and managing the lending process through executed term sheets.

Key responsibilities

• Source new lending opportunities through direct outreach and referral networks
• Develop relationships with intermediaries such as investment banks and private equity sponsors
• Prepare and negotiate indicative terms, letters of intent, and term sheets

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience originating commercial lending or private credit transactions
• Demonstrated history of originating loans in the $5 million to $50 million range
• Established network of borrower, intermediary, sponsor, and banking relationships
• Strong understanding of credit structures, collateral, and loan documentation
• Proven ability to execute a high annual volume of term sheets
