Job Summary

Experienced social media leaders will find a full-time remote opportunity as the Managing Director of Social Media, responsible for leading the strategy and execution of social media initiatives, overseeing content development, and managing a team to enhance brand engagement and impact, particularly with Gen Z audiences.

Key responsibilities
  • Set and lead the social media strategy across various platforms, ensuring content is culturally relevant and mission-aligned
  • Oversee the development of social-first content and manage the social media team, providing coaching and performance management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into scalable content strategies and analyze performance for continuous optimization
Required qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content strategy, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role
  • Deep expertise in social platforms and content formats, with a strong understanding of performance metrics
  • Proven track record of executing high-performing social-first campaigns or content strategies
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A clear understanding of Gen Z audiences and internet culture, along with a passion for educational equity
