Job Summary
To drive significant new revenue growth for the Public Affairs Practice, the full-time Managing Director, Public Affairs will proactively identify and secure new client engagements with major corporations, leveraging an established executive network and a proven sales track record in a remote or Washington D.C. environment.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively identify, target, and secure new client engagements with major corporations, aiming to land new logos within the first three to six months
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, advancing prospects through the sales cycle to close new deals
- Cultivate strong executive relationships and oversee a portfolio of engagements to ensure high-quality delivery and measurable client impact
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in sales and/or business development with success in landing and growing Fortune 500 accounts
- Demonstrated history of driving new business and closing large, complex enterprise deals
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales quotas in a consultative services environment
- Familiarity with consumer analytics, influencer analytics, and experimental design is a plus
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams
