Managing Director, Specialty Finance

Job Summary

Experienced finance professionals will find a full-time Managing Director, Specialty Finance opportunity responsible for managing the entire process of Specialty Finance Lending from origination to transaction close, while also mentoring junior team members and maintaining client relationships in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Source and manage new Specialty Finance Lending facilities, overseeing all aspects from structuring to ongoing account maintenance
• Lead the execution of process requirements and mentor junior sales personnel in the specialty finance sector
• Develop new market opportunities through research and presentations to senior management and other stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or finance; MBA preferred
• 15+ years of corporate finance, lending, and leasing experience, with at least 5 years in specialty lending
• 10+ years of senior-level financial sales experience with a proven track record
• Broad knowledge of lease-related asset-based lending and structured debt placement
• Strong risk assessment, structuring, negotiation, and documentation skills
