Job Summary

Managing Editor and Production Coordinator is a full-time, salaried position responsible for overseeing the editing and production of various titles, managing editorial tasks, and supervising staff and freelancers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage editorial and production tasks for journals and books, ensuring scholarly standards are met
  • Supervise graduate assistants and freelancers, providing editorial guidelines and reviewing work
  • Coordinate with authors and journal editors to maintain schedules and ensure timely publication
Required Qualifications
  • BA or BS degree required
  • Minimum of two years of relevant publishing experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Familiarity with scholarly writing and publishing practices
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills and proofreading ability
