Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prevention Strategist Managing Editor (Part-Time Contractor).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all editorial and production aspects of Prevention Strategist magazine, including article submissions and editorial panel management
• Oversee the publication process, ensuring timely production and distribution of the quarterly member magazine
• Coordinate relationships with external vendors and manage the full submission lifecycle for article contributions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area plus 4-6 years of publication/communication experience in healthcare; a Master's degree is a plus
• Experience in all phases of the publication process
• Experience managing volunteers and vendor relationships
• An LLC is required for any 1099 contractor roles
