Job Summary
Leading a team of transmission planning engineers, the full-time Managing Engineer, Grid Engineering and Interconnection will oversee the delivery of power system studies, manage client relationships, and ensure the quality of technical analyses in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers while managing client relationships and project deliverables
- Conduct and oversee power flow, voltage stability, transient stability, and short-circuit analyses
- Drive business development by shaping proposals and identifying new client opportunities
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of power systems analysis experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- Deep proficiency with PSS/E for load-flow and transient stability analysis
- Experience leading stability studies and congestion analysis across multiple ISOs
- Working knowledge of reliability standards and interconnection processes
