Managing Engineer - Software Development

Job Summary

Leading a team of software engineers, the fully remote Managing Engineer - Software Development (Container Workloads) will design and deliver reference architectures, promote engineering best practices, and provide technical leadership while ensuring high-quality, scalable applications are built across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers
• Design and deliver reference architectures, sample applications, and reusable implementation patterns
• Partner with product, platform, and infrastructure teams to address real-world engineering challenges

Required Qualifications

• 7 years or more of software engineering experience building enterprise-scale applications and services
• 2 years or more of technical leadership or people management experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience building distributed applications
• Experience developing cloud-native applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with container technologies and Kubernetes-based deployments
