Job Summary
To support a new initiative in cardiovascular health metrics, the full-time remote Managing Research Scientist will independently perform quantitative analyses, contribute to research design and dissemination, and supervise a research team while managing project scope, timeline, and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor research team members, ensuring adherence to quality standards and fostering professional development
- Define and document project work, balancing competing objectives and tracking progress to deliver timely, high-quality results
- Conduct quantitative analyses, develop statistical methods, and disseminate research findings through presentations and publications
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, or related field plus four years of related experience
- Previous supervisory experience including hiring, training, and performance coaching
- Advanced proficiency in R programming and experience with statistical modeling techniques
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a track record of publishing scientific papers
- Experience managing large datasets and implementing project management methods
