Managing Underwriter, VP

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managing Underwriter, VP.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive Credit Offering Memoranda and conduct risk assessments for commercial lease and loan transactions
• Review and approve junior level credit actions and mentor junior underwriting staff
• Direct and oversee underwriters' workflow to ensure timely processing of transactions

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) with a concentration in Accounting and/or Finance preferred
• Minimum 8-10 years of foundational experience in credit analysis and financial statement analysis
• Prior credit authority and experience approving credits
• High proficiency in analyzing financial statements and financial ratios
• Experience with Moody's Risk Analyst/CreditLens Software is a plus
