Mandarin Chinese Translator

Job Summary

To support linguistic projects, the part-time Mandarin Chinese Translator will perform tasks such as categorization, annotation, transcription, and content creation remotely under a commercial contract.

Key responsibilities

• Perform annotation, categorization, and transcription of various content types
• Engage in conversational interactions and voice recording as required
• Validate and evaluate audio, video, images, and text for accuracy and quality

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation
• Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
• Fluency in English with strong writing and editing skills
• Solid understanding of linguistic theory and grammar
• Computer literacy with a minimum of 4GB RAM and necessary audio-visual equipment
